Agnes Rose's One Song Written by Linda Saraco Illustrated by Debra CalderonAgnes Rose’s One Song, is a celebration of our world and a way of encouraging others to honor diversity.
In her bed, after her long day of adventuring, Agnes Rose read the note she wrote …
“There is something about everything in the whole world that is part of me, and there is something about me that is part of the whole world.”
A story about a flower on a quest. Spurred by her curiosity Agnes Rose repeats her question to all she meets --“I see the ‘We’ in you. Do you see the ‘We’ in me?” In doing so Agnes establishes her relationship with the world and is reassured of her place in it.
